Axis configuration, please help.

Hi all,

I have just cnc'ed my x2 mill for the x and Y axis. However, I am getting some problem with the way the coordinate of the table has been set up. Here is a picture to illustrate. Can anyone help me on how to set up the coordinate such that when I am standing in front of the mill, the left side of the table is -ve and the right side of the table is +ve. The Y axis is fine. Thanks.

Alex

Sorry here is the main question. Where in Mach3 can I reverse the direction of the x axis. I.e. If it goes to the left, it shows positive on the DRO and negative when it goes to the right. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say. At the moment, When I move the table to the left, it should show negative but its showing positive. Thanks.

You don't say what you are using to control your X2. This only applies if you are using Mach3

Go to Config menu then Homing and Limits, select Reverse on the X axis.

If not using Mach then I can't help software wise.

Electrical connections can also be altered if needed.

Hi greg,

Thanks a million. I read tru my post again after seeing nine viewing and I knew I was missing the critical question. To answer, yes, I am using mach3 and I went through the config tab in mach3 many times and I didn't even see that. Thanks again. Its sorted.
