I am buing a new CNC machine and would like to know your opinion on the diferent brands. Okuma Captain-L370 BBMW (Bar Capacity 2.75”) Price 145,900 Hardinge Elite II-8/51 (Bar Capacity 2.00”) Price 116,500 Daewoo Puma-240MSB (Bar Capacity 2.68”) Price 119,000 Mazak QTN-250MS (Bar Capacity 3”) Price 130,000 All of this machines have Live Tooling and sub-spindle. Which is the best machine???? Thank you Jorge |

| In my opinion, the Okuma is the toughest and longest-lasting of the above machines. I would rank it right up there with a Mori or Nakamura. The Mazak is not bad and we've got some Mazaks in out place that are 18 years old and still running 3 shifts/day. The Hardinge and Daewoo are not quite up to the same level but not bad machines. If you are putting them in a job shop any of them will last for years. If it will be used for 24/7 production, buy the Okuma. |
