Post Lathe machining "c" axis

Can anybody please give me an example on how to make a program on c axis.
I am new in cnc lathe machining, actually a student. Please help me to understand on this.

What exactly are you trying to program on the C-Axis?

I would like to program a square at the end of the shaft 1" dia. and spline along the body of the shaft, using fanuc 21iT controller.

The code is for Haas, but it's very similar.
