    cutting thin metal

I am trying to find a company that will cut a antique car logo out of thin sheet metal (0.020 approx), the object is about 2.7 by 0.76 inches. Most any metal will do.

I have a DXF CAD file or could provide any image file required. Essentially it is a 2D object that could be cut by a laser or perhaps a waterjet, although the cut width might be critical.

    thanks

    charlie

    clittle,

If you only need one such part, then stick with laser or the like. If you need a lot of these, wire EDM can very accurately cut stacks of these with little regard to kerf width (.012-.015"). Consider a 1" stack would produce 50 identical logos.

    Regards,

    Bud
