Question Spiral saw RPM

Hi, I just bought a 30,000RPM 600W spiral saw. It didn't come with any bits so I bought a 6mm spiral bit made by Bosch from the local DIY store. When I got it home I noticed it said on the back max 1000 RPM. Why such a big missmatch ?

If I attempt to cut 6mm aluminium sheet with it will bad things happen?

Probably. Very quickly, too. Do you have the part number of that tool? It doesn't sound like a rotozip type tool if the max rpm is 1000.

The only numbers on the package are 2 609 255 304-000 and 55220309. I have tried Googling for these with no success. There is no description on the packaging either, just a picture of a drill being used to cut a slot between two holes in a sheet of what looks like thin metal.

The bit has a normal fluted drill for the first half inch and the rest is like a round file. What have I bought?
