Hi all, I would like to machine some optics hardware and I am trying to find some really fine taps and dies. I want to use them for fine adjustment. I probably could coax my tl1 into making the outer threads but I have to do female threads in things that I can't get in the lathe. I was hoping to find a tap and a die set for nice fine threads. I have done a bunch of net searching but I can't find much that isn't the standard tap chart. It doesn't have to be 1/4-80 just hopefully something sort of standard and finer than all the common stuff. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Chad |
