    ingersol apkt recommendations ????

im wondering if anyone can recommend some ingersol apk inserts that can handle high speed high feed on mild steel , i m currently doing some jobs that i need to speed up , i'm gearing up to do some pretty high performance machining using a 1.5 turbo to start with , the inserts we are using are 1030 which in my opinion suck ,ive been looking at getting the 1040 inserts they have better resistence to wear heat and impact but i can definitely use some suggestions , i used to use sandvic at another place and everything was extremely fast , we used the 4030 inserts and they were pretty tolerant of what we put them thru ,i need something comparable , ive finally got thru to them (the boss ) that we could be running much faster ,and ive got the go ahead as long as the expense doesn t too far excede the price of the others

    any ideas???
