    Recycling Tooling

I was wondering what used wore out solid carbide tooling is worth? Also is used HSS or cobalt tooling worth anything? I'm starting to pile all my used wore out tooling from cutting 6061 everyday.

Looks like $7.75 a pound for inserts.

That can be a lot of ca$h, since it weighs a lot.

The only thing to watch out for is shipping!

You might be better off staying local?

I googled market prices and found the following from about a week ago:
    Scrap Price
    Low 8.50
    High 9.25

I just realized the boss can go on that trip he was wanting to take this July

    depends on weight

I dont like to put too much info out there to confuse people,
but if you have more weight the price goes up. I pay $9.50 for over 500lb. of clean carbide. Anyway feel free to check my website anytime, I have live chat. I just got it. works pretty good. thanks
