Not happy with the vertical mill idea supermoto..... FYI, routers, are high speed version of a mill, in a hand held use they are used for just about any woodworking operation you can think of, they can be placed into tables, and are often put in what is called a bridge, or gantry ssytem for CNC. They can cut other materials like lexan and polycarbs but you have to be careful, most routers spin around 12,000 rpms. Go to your schools wood shop and ask the teacher for a demo, you will find they are in comparison to a bridgeport loud, messy, and rather well cool, in a manly power tool kinda way. None the less they will turn your hand or gut into hamburger real quick so if you find yourself wanting to play at some point be real careful. In fact in my state you cannot use one untill you are 18, well at least not mine, but then again you cannot legally run a mill either. chris |

| No in2steam i was just wondering what all the talk was about cnc routers. I did some research on my own and what i came up with is that it is basically a cnc machine that is usually used on wood and soft materials where the spindle moves instead of the table. Im still into getting the vertical mill. Im so pumped. |
