Hello. I have been intermittently reading this forum and have learned a lot-thanks. I would really like to find some distance training or correspondence courses to learn the correct basics of machining. I am hoping to find something that is approved by the VA so I can use the GI Bill. Second best would be some good videos and books that I can buy. I have a 6”X18”& 12”X36” Atlas lathe with an 18” Jet vertical mill. I live in a small town in the mountains of Utah. I would really appreciate any information or suggestions. |

An invitation to check out our KipwareEDU training software. The Lathe and Mill Versions cover CNC programming and operation using a combination of in-depth text explanations and 3D animations with voice. In late March / early April, we will be releasing our ME version that will cover tons of manufacturing engineering type information including material, tooling, cutting, coolant, chips, lathes, mills, drilling and tons more. In late April, our Fanuc Cusomt Macro B version will be released. Info an presentations at www.KentechInc.com. Thanks in advance for taking the time to explore. |

| Try www.toolingU.com. They have lots of good classes and may work with you on the GI Bill. |
