lo guys...has anyone ever made a 3 or 4 jaw chuck as part of a project theyre doing???..id like to know how hard it would be to make one....im just starting out in this trade and figure it would be good practice to make one...later

Independant jaw = pretty easy
scroll chuck = not so easy
scroll chuck that is accurate = really not so easy (especially for a beginner)

just a simple one that i can throw in a lathe, tighten it up and spin some aluminum around.....any suggestions???..thanks

can i get some direction as to where i can get some specs or a print with dimensions???...anything would help..later
