    Problem with emco compact 5

    Hi!

Wasn't sure where to post this, but hope this is the right place to get help.

Our school has Emco Compact 5 pc,and we would really like to get it working, so we could teach the students how to use it.
So, to the problem: After we make the program ready and test it,it works fine, but when we try to run the program it says "Guard not in place". What could this mean, and how to fix it? Thank oyu, allready!

    ---Sorry, my bad english---

It probably has a safety switch somewhere.... try closing the door or moving a shield back in place.

The other issue could be you are missing the shield completely, or the switch is broken in the wrong position.

You also might try the Emco_cnc_users group on groups.yahoo.com.
