I know this question is asked a million times, but there are always new things so the answers may have changed. You may have seen my other thread, but my bandit controller (which is usually acceptable) is, at best, a clunker. What I would like to is get a PC based system that controls 3-4 axis.

Does someone make an inexpensive system that is pretty much a complete turnkey solution? The system I have seems to have OK DC motors and separate rotation sensors where the handles would go. I'm not sure if this is difficult to integrate with. What do these systems typcially offer for an API? I'm assuming it's straight motor control and not canned cycles.

Any suggestions?
