| Is it possible to thread mill a 2-1/2 npt with a single point carbide thread mill. I have a Fadal cnc and would love to get the g-codes for this program. I am familair with threadmilling but have not been able to figure tis one out can someone help? |

| What you need to do is increase the J value by the result of the following formula. Pitch x angle of taper. For example your pitch is .125 .125 x Tan of 1.7833 will equal the amount the J value needs to increase if you are milling an ID thread and starting at the bottom and working up. Hope this makes some sense. |
