| does the shaft spin freely or does it feel like it has small notches? In a stepper you will feel ech step as you turn them. How many wires come out of it? If its a stepper 4 wires= bipolar, 6,8 wires= unipolar or bipolar, they can be wired either way. BTW you should have posted this question here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/stepper_motors_drives/ Matt |

| I'm pretty sure it is a 200V AC servo. Whats wrong with the Sanyo website? Try their support center: http://www.sanyo-denki.com/techno/index.html Or give them a call: Phone (734) 525-1806

| Thanks for the phone number, gave them a call but the model is outdated, ther digging up some info hopefully on it. They did give some info on it: probably a stepper motor with an encoder don't kow what size etc yet. Wondering if this would work for a Seig X2 Cnc convert and Xylotek controllers? What the heck is this stepper, is this kinda like a hybrid stepper/servo motor and can i use this with a standard gecko or xylotek controller board, and 24v dc 10A power supply? thanks again |
