Can any one tell me what makes a silver and deming drill bit diferent from other drill bits?
The shanks are typically 1/2" no matter what size the bit end is up to maybe 2.500". They are handy for drilling larger holes than what a standard 1/2" chuck will hold. They are limited in length to some extent. Not often will you see them longer then 6". Other than that, nothing special.
