    vacuum table

Can someone help me find an inexpensive vacuum table to fit my ShopSabre 7214? Also I need something to convert my AutoCAD file into G code.

    Thank you

You have a CNC now...Make your own!

I would tell you to go to the ShopSabre discussion board...but I KNOW that won't be of any help...You might want to put on a blue t-shirt and check out the ShopBot board...where most CNC router owners wind up getting their questions answered

I have a shopsabre 4896 and I cant use a vaccuum table because I have a plasma bed permanently beneath the removeable top. BUT, I use downcut spiral bits and a few scres. I am interested to know any other hold down tricks such as adhesives people are using.

Also, doesnt your included RAMS import DXF and DWG? I bought Bobcad and am extremely happy with it. Rams was way too limited.

If you're using 2002 or newer, you can use the free macro I wrote that will export g-code from within AutoCAD.
