Femco Lathe

I was wondering what anyone thought about the femco durga lathes. we are looking for a lathe and the 23 tool turrent sound like a interesting feature. just wondering if anyone has worked with one to get there thoughts. anyhelp would be great. Thanks

I`ve got a Durga 25. Bought it new in 2001. It`s great to have that many tools in the turrets. One of the limiting factors is the OD tools can only overhang so much out because they will clash with the ID tools. Twice as many things going on when setting-up. Very easy to operate. I`m having some issues with the Quad-Ring seperating the two turrets. I can`t seem to find anyone locally to service the machine. It`s kind of unique.
