| Have you ever tried to hold square stock in a 3 jaw chuck? How about offset dia turning ala crankshaft. Holding a nasty rough, not round casting. At least 30% more holding force for oversize and heavy cutting. Indicating parts within 0.0001" TIR when your 3 jaw is not a "set-tru" model.
