I use Molly Dee for hard alloy and stainless it's thick and coat tap nicely we don't keep tap magic in shop as it stains alum. and you know some always uses the wrong stuff if itt around

You know, I was just on google and found that stuff. I used to use it years ago on cast iron, I was fairly new at this then and didn't know, just did as told? Ya know?
Anyway It's a little pricey but if it works I think they'll pay for it.

a little bit goes a long way don't think that the tape needs a bath in the stuff also tap magic is harmfull stuff to both you and the world I will not use tap magic if it can stain alum. it's strong stuff
I just turned in the MSDS info on moly-dee, if approved, (red tape don't ya know) I'll try it.
now a days you get MSDS on drill and taps but yes it will need to be stored in your fire proof locker and don't drink the stuffOriginally Posted by ajl6549

like all oils flash point high but firecode will mostly state storage in fireproof container
