| It was my experience to use Cobolt drills instead of Carbide, because Cobolt dulls and Carbide cracks! HSS is totally usless in Titanium! If the part is NOt going into outer space, use the thick brown sulfer based cutting oils, they can not be use on titanium in space because the Chlorene causes a serious reaction in a zero oxigen atmosphere. But it is the bes oil for cutting Titanium! Eric

| Thanks Eric for the tips, i was playing and i found that the best feed and speed for this particular job on a regular cobolt drill is . 800 rpm (15 spm) , .5 ipm (.0007 ipr) and .025 peck . I have not idea on the use for this part so i stay on coolant Daniel |
