HI, what should I use to build the Z Axis, ball screww or lead screw  |

| Without knowing your application, only general staements can be made. A ball screw has very little force to turn - low friction. And very little to zero backlash. Much more expensive to pruchase. Acme screws can be just fine if backlash is not a concern, often the case in Z where cutting forces are only one way. Karl |
