Machine for making slots in SS tubing I am looking for a dedicated machine I can use for making slots in stainless steel tubing (5/8" OD, .065” wall). I know I can use a milling machine but I do not want to tie up a machine like that for this purpose. I came across an old H.B. Rouse Precision Milling Machine which I thought I could set up once and use for this purpose only. I am looking for opinions regarding whether or not this machine or this type of machine is the right choice. I should also add the machine is cheap to buy. Thanks… Norman |

| Hi another alternative is to laser cut the slot you can do both sides or single side! high speeds .... cleaning is not an issue if done proper technique. and cheaper than milling no tooling needed. any questions email at laserboy68@aol.com Dave K |
