anyone know how to disassemble one of these? i got most of it apart but i need to get the set screw out that locks the collet in place. the screw they use is too small compared to the 1/8 slot in the collets. i need to put a larger screw in there. thanks Jerry  |

What brand is it? Is it an origonal Hardinge Indexer, if so the spindle needs to be removed. Not all indexers are the same, got a picture? Eric

| it was a cheap import version. i found out it wasn't assembled right from the box and the threaded portion would bottom out before tightening the collet. all is fine now. got the job and i'm moving on. |
