hello forum has anyone got calculator for determing the surface speed and feed rate of emd milld and slot drills please something that easy to use and on the internet ,,,,,all the best derkiow |

| It is not free but it is the easiest to use I have found, it would be extremely useful for any level of machinist experience. Inch or Metric selection. Much more then speeds and feeds as well. | I use ME Pro the program Ken Shea is talking about the feed and speed are very good starting point. Also you can edit data base for tool and materail it's about $100 but you can save that in endmills,drills and scrap peices in not time. I find that it's something that I use just about every day |

| MDF added to calculator. Chip load is set at minimum .008in. maximum .016in. New version attached. As I have found conflicting chip loading information I have withdrawn this version of the calculator. I will modify and repost. Sorry for any inconveniance.
