Neat idea. I can see in certain situations they would save a lot of machine time.

It took me about 8 or 9 of their pictures before I could see how they were gripping the parts. Duh

It looks like a great idea.

the last company i worked at we produced our own product so we had lots of time to optimize the process (time to play), the 12" single units work sweet on the indexer with a three sided tombstone on the vmc we also had them mounted on all sides of a couple tombstones on the horizontal , we'd mount all our smaller fixturing to these as well (quick change), everything was g52 for every job ,press cycle start and walk away ,idiot proof ,well so we beleaved ,the company got bought out moved south, they contracted it out dropped the machines and all the fixturing in a butcher shop , last of my knowledge they had done such a bad job the whole thing may be scrapped ,so much for idiot proofing , never underestimate the idiots of the world ,
anyway , anyone looking for great fixturing these things are unbeleavable , the dovetail clamping is quite solid , they are pricey but once youve got them , you mind will kick into high gear ,

i beleave the 12" are about $1000 and they hold onto a dovetail and use .5" locating pins , so if you want to machine a part you will first cut a dovetail in tne raw stock then add a couple of locating holes as well
