I'm looking for a good source of cast iron plates, up to 2" thick. Any good sources? Mcmaster is bit high in price.

try searching widgitmaster's recent posts. He has a thread about him making table blanks from CI, and on the first page of the thread he cites his source for the cast iron plate.

Hmm they're kind of small. I'm hoping to make Bridgeport size tables, 9x42, or maybe VMC sized, like 30 x 18
