scrap metal yards near orlando?

hey guys,

i just wanted to find some scrap pieces of aluminum to mill with and some sort of square steel tubing to weld together a decently sturdy workbench.

is there anyone who lives near the orlando area that could recommend any good scrap yards? i tried looking some up but could only find ones that wouldnt resell to the public.

yeah i called them....they wont sell to the public...seems alot of places here will take your scrap but just process it and wont sell it back.

Find out if there are any machine shops in your area. I suspect there is a few since WDW isn't very far. Go in by the back door and ask to speak to the forman. bring a box of donuts with you. You'd be amazed what a box of donuts can get you.
