My tool guy brought by some 1/4-20 and 10-24 thread forming taps from OSG. I believe they are TiAN Cobalt Hypro froming taps. My question is do I use the same speeds and feeds as I normally would for a regular tap or are thier special speeds and feeds. I will be cutting 6061 aluminumm .5" to 1" deep. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |
