| Carbide counter sink ? I have several USA made 1/2" 90 degree 3 flute countersinks, they are all carbide, however the cutter is brazed or silver soldered to the 3/8" shaft. My question is, have any of you used similiar cutters for light profile chamfering aluminum or are these solder joints only designed for vertical cuts. Thanks Ken |

| Brazed carbide countersinks should have no problem chamfering aluminum.... although I always use chamfer mills...

| Sometimes the three flute countersinks have minimal clearance behind the cutting edge to help reduce chatter. Used as a cutter they may rub badly. |
