re:

I like the machine, but its a little glitch-iy. I periodically have x-brake problems, z-tach problems & glitch-iy e-stop issues. I am looking for extra eletrical parts, because all in all its been a good machine, and I hate to get rid of it.

well our shop has had ours now for about 10 yrs. we bought it for about $12,000. and have had numerous problems. ballscrew, turret motors, control boards, drive boards, power boards, collet closer, spindle motor, drive motors, tachs, just to name a few. got about .008" backlash in the x axis. prolly put atleast $30,000 into it. my boss is soooo stupid. it really aint bad running though. i live in elmira,ny., where hardinge is located, so that helps.

I have a Superslant 4 axis live tooling, I bought for $6000.00 and have made over $250,000.00 with it, the machine has turret problems, power supply, incoders ect that will go bad. It is best to send out the parts for repair as new in very expensive.
To own one you really need to do you own repair work youself.
What shimming are you talking about???
And does anyone know were to get the Programming pendant for the upper turret and the memory kept with 2 D cell batterys, Hardinge used to loan out it for programming but some one KEPT IT
