ProE part to Mastercam or Catia | |
Good day everyone...I am thinking of using pro/nc to do the whole milling work but since pro/e seems to be lack of post processor, I prefer to use CAM software to set the toolpath. In other words, I will design the part in ProE and convert it to IGES and import the IGES file from mastercam or catia...
My question is, will i lose the part precision since it involves a lot of import export stuff...also, what sort of thing do i have to aware with the conversion? Please advise....any comment will be highly appreciated. |
