Nardini Cross slide

Hi, Just wondering if anyone out there knows if its possible to adjust the cross-slide nut on a 1440 Nardini MS Lathe. I didn't get a manual with it but it looks like one of the bolts might be adjustable. I thought i would check in here to see if there was a procedure to follow before i start messing with it.

Got a photo of what the screws on the cross slide look like? On my Victor lathe there's a 2-pc nut, and one socket head cap screw holds each half. In between them is a set screw (grub screw to some of you) which spreads the two halves apart to take up back lash.
