    Grade = low
    Prices = high

    options to Home Dumpot:

    Online Metal Store | Small Quantity Metal Orders | Metal Cutting, Sales & Shipping | Buy Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Stainless | Metal Product Guides at OnlineMetals.com

    MSC Industrial Supply Co. | Find Power Tools, Hand Tools, Machine Tools & More

    McMaster-Carr

    </title> <STYLE> a{text-decoration:none} a:link { color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration: none; } a:active { color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration: none;} a:visited { color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration: none;} *** a:hover { color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration: underline

    If you absolutely, positively need it right now..Home Depot is ok in an emergency, if they have what you need.

    If you can wait ONE day....McMaster Carr delivers really fast.
    Depending on where you are, there's often a metal scrap yard that will have remnants or shorts/drops that are reasonably priced.

    Last year I bought a piece of aluminum from Lowes (flat, .125" thick, about 1.0" wide and several feet long).

    The aluminum alloy that they sold was 5052. It is generally easy to bend, but it can be a bit gummy to machine.

    The way that I determined what alloy they were selling was to look at the color code (painted on the end of the bar). The 5052 bar had a purple code. If they sell any 6061 it should have a blue code.

    There is a color code chart at http://www.westlakemetals.com/opencm...LOR_CODESa.pdf
