I tried using the the manufacturer's recommended cutting condition and lowering it by a lot. it can cut the metal clean and without the sparking. but i creates a lot of noise and vibration. so is it normal for the machine to be that noisy and vibrating or it should be vibrating at all?
i have found that the mitsubishi's like a lower axial cut and a deeper depth, so .25" axial and .5 depth, on a 40 taper machine. I run a hurco vmx42, only 3 years old. depending on my cut, i can get the machine to rumble a little, but its a 40 taper, not the most rigid machine out there.....
