    Coolant Suggestions??

We are currently using Tech Cool 3715B at the shop, and we are looking to try something new. Not happy with the performance during high speed milling and rigid tapping. Currently our we are doing a lot of alluminum work, but also work on steels and stainless steels. I am looking for some recommendations on some coolants to try out. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Chris

I use ITW metal working fluids, my machines aren't constantly running, so great bio stability is highest on my list for metal working fluids. With a coalescer, I get a good year of use for sump life, maybe have to add triadine at times. Rustlick ULTRACUT Pro CF High-Performance Water-Soluble Oil for Metal Cutting and Grinding

Masterchem E-206 was giving pretty good sump life at 10%, with skimming and proper care on alum and SS. It tends to foam a lot in a CNC lathe though.

One complaint has been that it gets under the vise and stationary components and results in stinky oxidation.

Chemetall Tech Cool 35048 or Tech Cool 35052M

    Sir
Contact your local Chemetall rep and he can get you information on Tech Cool 35052 M or Tech Cool 35048 bio stable semi synthetic coolants. These products do not contain any biocides yet are bio stable. Your local Chemetall rep can help solve your issues.

    Thanks
