Yes exactly witch one is better for old model mini-tech 2. Digital Stepper Driver KL-5056D is $200 more. I don't mine pay more as long I'm see better results.

Hoss is the only 1 I have seen run both. He has probably run them back to back. Do you need the adjustable stepping? The G540 will be more straight forward to connect.
