Need Help!- Lathe recomendations for oilfield parts.

Hello all, my company has asked me to get opinions from some other machinists on what lathe we should purchase. Sales reps have recommended the Haas TL-3B and a Doosan 300C/300LC so far. Okuma and Mazak reps will be stopping in tomorrow.
If anyone has experience with thread chasing I'd like to hear what machines you prefer.

Mori Seiki SL803. Was designed from way back to be a pipe machine for the oil industry. Has a HUGE through hole for threading pipe.

Watch out for HAAS TL3 B!

I use Mazak M4 and Ikegai FX 25N for parts. If you cut thread for DP, DC, csg, tbg, then unit big spindle bore such as SLB03, johnford, etc.

I have had similar replies about the TL-3B on other sites. Considering that and some of the research I have done I think Haas is out of the running.

Meetings with Mazak and Okuma went well today. I will be scheduling visits to other shops running the recomended machines within the next week or two.

The area Mori rep will be in tomorrow or Monday.

Any further advise or experiences from anyone will be appreciated.
