I am trying to figure out how to adjust the tension on this NCR-OA tapping head. It says it is adjustable for 4 thru 1/4 & M-2.5 thru M-6 taps. I am using a 6-32 but dont know how to lighten or even adjust the tension. Can someone help! Thanks |

| Check the knurled cap on top that is the same diameter as the body. This turns in relation to the body to adjust the tension. If the tension is set to max, it may be hard to turn for the first few turns. Make sure the locking set screw is loose before turning. |
