| Hi, Hi, I’m building a specializes machine and I’m looking for help trying to find a Motor ( I think I need a stepper motor). I have to be able to control this motor to advance approx. 5 to 10 deg. Of a turn on timed intervals. It should also lock in place when stopped. The turning and locking torque should not have to be any more than 100 in. lbs. If anyone out there knows where I can find info and purchase something like this your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for now, clayman |

Oriental Motor has some closed-loop systems with everything included that have motors that strong: Low Heat, Continuous Duty, Closed Loop Step Motor & Driver System - AR Series (AC Input) If you just need a motor, they've got those as well - you're at the upper range of what a NEMA 34 will do, or about in the middle of the NEMA 42 range.
