I purchased a Phase II 8" rotary table. I disassembled everything I could and I am stuck on one area. I can't seem to figure out how to remove what is holding the worm shaft in. The diagram indicates that there is a 5x6mm set screw and a threaded pin. When I look in the bored hole in the casting with a flashlight all I see is what appears to be a head of a screw or bolt with a round hole in the center. I have tried different size allen wrenches, but I get no bite. Has anyone taken this table apart, that would know how to remove what they are saying is a set screw? I left this question for the distributor but have not received a call or email back with the answer. Chris |
