What are these lathe tool abbreviations?

Hi gang...I am obviously a newbee, and just bought a MicroLux 7 X 16 mini lathe. I want to buy some cutting tools, and I am unable to find any definition to these tool tip type designations. How about someone passing along the definitions for these abbreviations. The following is a copy of the ad selling a set of these cutting tools, and the abbreviations that are leaving me scratching my head!!!.
Thanks for the help.
Jim
C6 GRADE, 4 PCS BR4, 4 PCS BL4, 4 PCS C4, 4 PCS D4 8 PCS AL4, 8PCS AR4, 6 PCS E4, ALL NEW C6 GRADE FOR CUTTING STEEL.

The C6 designation is for a style of brazed tungsten carbide.

Most are 1/2", the AR/AL/BR/BL refer to different shapes for various turning operations. The larger the number after the letter designation, the bigger the size of tool.

12 = 3/4" ; 10 = 5/8" ; 8 = 1/2" ; et cetera.

R = right hand ; L = left hand

A = OD/facing straight; B = OD/facing angled; C =

D & E = OD sharp/threading tools;

C6 is appropriate for most materials and a good choice for all around flexibility.

These are all old style tooling and appropriate for the lathe in question.

Thank you so much for taking the mystery out of that abbreviations issue.
I will go ahead and buy that tool set.
Bye for now.
