Need Help!- Machining a Right angle gear box out of 316 L

Any help I can get with regards to machining 316L. I've never done it before. Speeds and feeds would be helpful. I'm starting with a 3" block and right now it's not cutting well at all. Thanks

I'll assume you're wanting to get it done without a heavy re-tool, so why not tell us what you have at your disposal.

316L is not that difficult, though it can be gummy and does harden when cold worked.

What kinds of problems are you having and what speeds/feeds are you currently using? CNC or manual machining??

I have no carbide drills and 1" and 3/4" soild carbide endmills. I also have a Kenametal inserted facemill KCM30 I'm positive on the inserts.I look later today. All CNC
