Stmeng- You are looking at metric trapezoidal thread with 8mm pitch. Looks like an acme thread. 30 deg. angle. Something is wrong here. 324 not likely. Check it!

Stmeng- I can not find anything on this thread. It appears to be an extra fine special. What does Note 3 say?
Look here: http://mdmetric.com/tech/thddat16.htm
And here: http://www.roymech.co.uk/Useful_Tabl...apezoidal.html
And here: http://www.gewinde-normen.de/en/trap...ne-thread.html

Is it a thread? What does NS-5700 stand for?

I think I would go back to the customer and ask for clarification. This is not listed in any DIN or ISO standard.
Could be someone made this up to fit his design.
Pls. post what you find out from your customer. Thank you.

to my mind you find all answers on Page ("side") 4 Plus some info on the preceding pages. d=324mm, P=8mm. Good Luck.

Stmeng - benji2505 is right. You should be able to work with the info given to you.
Most likely they need this dia. and the standard only goes to 300mm.
