I have an old (1930's or 40's) Southbend lathe. It can hold a 9" diameter bar up to I believe 22 to 24 inches long (not exactly sure on this number). It is in decent shape especially considering it's age. It has 6 and 4 jaw chucks, the original bench (not original table surface), a bunch of other misc. parts, and the original manuals; however it does not have all of the thread cutting gears. The only problem is it takes up space. I recently moved and space is somewhat limited. I was wondering what one could reasonably expect to sell something like this for. In the end I will either sell it or move it down to storage (which is not climate controlled...). |
