| problem with binns and berry lathe,i think there is a fault on the gear range selector if you move the gear lever in and out a few times it seems to come on, the program will not start as it is not recognizing it is in gear,can anybody help |

| Can't confirm it with that particular lathe, but often a limit sw or prox switch is used to indicate whether the gear has shifted, sounds like it might be the problem. What controller is on it? often the control has diagnostics to read input status in order to confirm whether a shift has occurred, other wise the program hangs waiting for the shift confirmation. Al.

| Post #2 still applies. They have an I/O diagnostic also you should have a Mnemonic listing of the ladder in order to see what was written in by the MTB as to shift detection etc. Al.
