Hi, In the figure attached, you can see Part A & Part B. I want to attach Part B (which is a carbide) to Part A (Steel). I know that normally "BRAZING" is done to attach carbide, but it is not a failure proof. I have many of pieces (attached by brazing process) do seprate after a period of time. ![]() I was looking so any other attaching method (other than brazing) to attach carbide to steel which do not seprate for a very long period of time. Can anyone suggest me a alternative & failure method of attaching carbide?: Ramu |

| Machine a pocket for the carbide to go into then braze them. You will have more contact area and the pocket will keep it from being jared loose over time. Lots of luck to you !
