I had played with arc filler couple times, but no luck beside I don't need to since we have 512MB hard drive(5years ago) more than enought for us to run any five axis jobs. |
The original spline was created from an excel spredsheet exported from a program called Accent with "Z" and "R" coordinants that I used to drive a spline thru. Now I have given up on using the spline and I have created arcs using a 3 point arc tool to create an arc between each of the spline points and checked it against the spline. the largest missmatch was around .0002" This was much faster and easier than the way I was doing it in the past.
I have Hatach seiki machines with fanuc controls and Gibbscam for programing niether of wich support turning up the resolution or machining a spline
Thanks for the input. |
