I'm setting up my first 3 axis using a Porter Cable 7310 router which takes 1/4" shanks. Initially I want to be able to cut aluminum, 1/4" acrylic, and woods ranging from ash to walnut. Plenty of sources for cutting bits are listed on this site, but my knowledge of cutting bits is somewhat limited. I was wondering if anyone knows of a source selling a decent starter set of milling bits for soft metals and plastics. There will be a mist cooling setup and I don't need a high feed rate. Thanks.
