Looking for around 1.25-1.5" octagonal tube.

You should be able to source it through your local steel supplier.

Oops ther smallest is 1 3/4

Looking for the octagonal in aluminum.

I haven' had alot of good luck with local suppliers.

Octagonal bar stock is easy to find but I have never seen it in tube that large before. That doesn't mean that it can't be found. Try Googling "Shapiro Supply", they have a lot of strange stuff. They have more than what their catalog shows.

Sounds like the dimensions of a lacrosse shaft. If you find this in 7055 Aluminum alloy, let me know. I'm looking for the same thing. Hard to believe that $2 worth of metal sells for $100
